Fantastic jerk bbq chicken, rice & peas (beans). I've had a lot of jerk around the gta and this hangs with the best. Great smoke taste, really outstanding. Thanks again!
PS get the large. The small was enough for a normal meal but now knowing how good it was, I wish I had as much as possible. -

I have tried this place three different times, each time hoping it was just a one-off situation. The last time, we ordered curried goat rotis. We went to pick them up. Person behind counter didn't know about order and just said "Junior isn't here". After quite a while the order was ready but not very hot and very very greasy with no hot sauce. I was so happy to see a Carribean joint in the good but am so disappointed. Three strikes and you're out!

This little hole in the wall is located in a small plaza right beside the Howard Johnson Inn in Roncesvalles. There's limited parking out front shared with the other stores, but that shouldn't be a problem as Tdot Jerk is more of a takeout joint than anything. Inside the menu on the wall had quite a few items crossed out down to the typical jerk/pork/oxtail items, but I settled on the lunch special instead. For $6 you get a small container with some rice, jerk chicken, and a bottle of water. The rice was kind of mushy, but the chicken was tasty with just the right amount of spice. In all honesty the portion size was a little too small for my liking and I would've preferred the water to be replaced with slaw, but you get what you pay for I suppose.
All in all a pretty standard Caribbean take-out place. -

I liked the owner a lot.
Great Jerk pork, I prefer a drier rice, this was more chinese style. Few parking spots in front. -

Awesome goat curry! I asked the owner if I should get the jerk chicken or the goat curry and he said definitely the goat, he's such a sweet man. It tastes homemade so if you're used to the charred black MSG-filled greasy kinds then you'd better stick with other establishments. The only miss was not enough coleslaw! It's bomb, refreshes your palette in a jiffy. Will try the oxtail next time!
